serial #4407099, had one reply that it was a 1976. My ? is that in the Clymers tuneup section on merc 200 with manual start (diagram 14) it says 1979 and above i believe..
starter rope broke, replaced line, new center shaft (bolt), washer and nut installed, can tension and have good recoil, but dogs won't engage.... any suggestionsl
