    Repowered from 20 some years ago first water and fuel and it started and ran water temp Ok .Changed out drive from shifting problems and lost flow volume ,Pulled hose from top of thermostat housing and casting was cracked for the hose , order one then pulled to find this cast iron flakes in stat .

    Kicker motor is only 4.5 hp and cavitation plate is at water line , It has held up good without screws coming loose on the platform , I tilt back running WOT ,snug steering bushing on it pointed straight and can steer with IO ..Its clamped to a piece of 1 1/2 oak with U bolts to the platform...

    Found out that 5 1/2 inches of snow with rain ice topping didn't tear up mooring cover . Just need a winter supporting pole that's not adjustable as it reached its load . Plastic lawn leaf rake works good for shoveling off of . Window weights kept tarp tight even with rope around and high winds...
