I've got a 1970 Penn Yan, 22 foot with a 318 Chrysler inboard. The propeller is brass and clears the tunnel by about 2 inches all the way around. When I get underway, it seems that I am losing a lot of thrust by the large rooster tail behind the boat. Any suggestions? I don't know if the...
I have an old Penn Yan and the fuel guage works fine between Full and 1/2 but does not drop below 1/2 indication. Found out the hard way while Striper fishing off of Nags Head. Any suggestions on what the problem might be?
