OK this is not good. I removed the gear housing to replace the water pump and two small bolts fell out of the mid section assembly.

I need to replace the pedestal base and pedestal post at the front deck. The old one is 7" x 7" square with a 3/4" post receiver. Since I have to replace the pedestal as well the base should I stick with 3/4" or go with 1.77"?
I was just handed down a Bass Tracker Pro 17 from my brother. It has a Mercury
35HP motor, serial # 0B342115, and both transom clamp are busted. Any body
