    Hello, I have a 1990 6hp Evinrude Model E6RLESR... I just did a compression test on it and both cylinders read around 90 psi.....Does anyone know what the compression should be? is 90psi good or bad? It wont idle and I just pulled the carb off and check all the ports.... all where clear and...

    1990 6 hp Evinrude wont idle any ideas?

    Hello, I just got a 1990 6 hp evinrude and will not idle... It will start up and run, but at a higher rpm..It will run fine for alittle bit at a higher rpm for about 2 mins then it starts backfiring or surging..... I screwed the low idle screw all the way in and backed it out 3 full turns, seems...

    Hello, I need some help with the 2 cycle oil..... I am trying to figure out what is the best to use for the motor.... I see some with 2S, 2W & 2R what is the difference? I am in the process of ordering a seloc repair manual. If anyone could help please do.. Thanks
