    Cooling Alarm tone but not overheating '89 Mercury 135 V6 OB - Blackmax

    sometimes the alarm gives the constant tone signaling an overheat, but has new impeller and a constant stream from the back of the motor. temp gauge says 145 degrees which is perfect. I shut it off rais and lower the motor and it goes away. Any suggestions?
