    2008 DF25 sluggish... Please help.

    Hi - I have a 14ft aluminum fitted with a df25 v-twin - 14P prop - does not seem like it is hitting full RPM - no tach to check. Takes forever to get on plane - only 18MPH top speed.     Suzuki engine light..

    Can anyone tell me what the warning light on a 2008 df25 suzuki 4 stroke outboard is hooked to? Mine is comming on after about 2 minutes at full sped. As soon as i go to idle it shuts off and i can go again. Does not sem to be comming on at about half throttle. Could this be overspeed? Wrong...

    Motor to transom height.

    I just bought a 2008 ultracraft 14ct with a df25 suzuki 4 stroke. I have a 20" transom and a 20 inch leg. the vent plate is about 2 inches below the bottom of the boat. Is this why there is so much water splashing up off the back of the boat? I also get the warning light coming on at full speed...
