    They have degraded to the point where they don't hold on even after pinching.i found some used ones in good shape.had to travel 70 miles to retrieve them. They are no longer available to order

    Ive had this rebuilt .30 over for a few yrs but light use every year. Compression is perfect #120 x4. Although this engine was bored .30 over,there are signs that the engine got very hot before the rebuild as the previous owner stated. One day it'll run great all day...next day runs like a bad...

    Well, I think I found the issue on the cylinder....I pulled the brown wire leading to the coil...a bunch of dust/corrosion fell out.that'll probably fix it 🤞

    You see the far right plug is white while the others are tan. That white plug comes from a hole that is 10# under 120psi...maybe less than 10# (lbs) only

    I must apologize...my bad. I was trying to go by memory. It's not the ground wire...it's one of the 2 black/yellow wires coming from the ignition.one of the 2 black/yellow stripe wires has been capped off

    1986 johnson 90hp 120 psi x4 I have deleted the vro. It was running and starting better than ever since vro delete...But... Shortly after delete its struggling to get up and go (hesitates badly)but eventually does clear and go once the speed increases...and when it does get up,seems to run fine...
