I have a 17.5 foot procraft. Im debating puting a hyrdrofoil try and get a little more of the boat out the water when on plane. Ive heard from some people that having a hydrofoil can cause a boat to flip when turning....What do they mean by this ?? and If not, what are some things NOT to do with...
I installed the new water pump in my boat yesterday but the flow doesnt look like it is as strong as it used to be...
Could this be a problem and if so how can i fix it?
I have a 1995 Merc Black max 135
Im very mechanically inclined i just have never changed a waterpump. Is changing the water pump an at home project that i can do or should i shell out the few extra $$.
Ive recieved information that my alarm means a temperature problem.
What could i do to check myself before hiring help.
What sensors would i have to locate and clean, etc.?

at idle everything is running fine including waterpump. After about 2 mins on plane constant beeping allarm sounds. I turned it off for 3 mins and when it comes on no alarm. I mix my own oil at the recommended 50:1 ratio .
Any ideas how to trouble shoot this?
