    I recently bought a 74 sea star with a 74 135 evinrude on it. I took it out yesterday for the first time and I got it up to 42 mph. The tachometer goes up to 8000 rpm but when I had it floored all the way it only went up to maybe 5100 rpm. Is there any way I can get some more rpm's or something...

    Johnson 115 outboard starts hard

    I own a 74 winner with a 115 johnson and for some reason i can't get it to start on its own. I have to shoot a little starting fluid in it then it will fire. But once it has started if i kill it then it will start on its own after it has warmed up a bit. What could the prob be?

    Replacing the carpet in my boat

    I own a 74 sea star tri hull 18ft. I want to replace the carpet because it is a hidious oragne color.
