    60HP Mariner revs fast, but prop barely pushes boat

    bigfoot 60 problem

    1997 2 stroke 60 runs fine for about 3 hours, then stalls. It will restart, but then only run up to 2800 RPM's. Pushing trottle beyond that will stall it out. Next day, same thing...runs fine at 4500 RPM's for a few hours and acts up again. Seems very consitent. Gas cap venting is fine and...

    bigfoot 60 2 stoke poor running

    1997 runs great (4700 rpm's) for about 3 hours then stalls out. Starts right up and runs fine up to 2800 rpm's but stalls if given more throttle. This is very consistant...last 3 times out.
