    I have a 1985 evinrude 150xp model E150stlcos. I have put another lower unit on the motor. It has the same size shift on the lower unit like the old lower unit. I am having problems adjusting the shift lever. Any suggestions on how to adjust this would be appreciated...

    Can any one tell me how to take the lower unit apart to check the gears in it. it is a 1985 evinrude 150xp. can anyone tell me how to take the driveshaft out of the lower unit. I all ready have the BEARING HSG off the driveshaft .Any advice would be appreciated.Thanks...
