    Advice needed: Fed up of this anchor need a new one asap

    I have what I believe is a Danforth style anchor. The bottom could flip from side to side. I'm not sure if it is too light or what the problem is with this anchor but I always have problems setting it. there is about 5 ft of chain on it. It hardly ever sets unless if the bottom is really rocky...

    Corrosion x??? Any good?

    Should I be using corrosion x or the heavy duty version on my outboard & other parts? I see they say the difference is that the heavy duty leaves a greasy film...does the regular version leave a sticky film also? Is another brand more recommended?

    Do umbrellas really work?

    I plan on setting up the downrigger with an umbrella at the end of the line in saltwater hoping to catch a few king fish, cavali or carite at the other end. Planning to rig the umbrella with some silver spoons. What are your thoughts?
