Looking at bow riders, but closed bows are sportier to me. Is this just wasted space down in the south because of heat? Can anything be done to make space usable, besides just being junk room?
4 year old, merc 8.2 I/o, 50 hr, brackish water, dry stacked, maybe flushed, looks good, any way to know if a potential problem? Buy, don' buy? Current boat run in fresh and brackish, no problem, but I know boat.
Didn't ask dealer yet. But will they trade trailers? Looking at boat with steel, prefer aluminum. Will be fresh water, I believe, river runs into brackish lake. Not sure I should keep steel trailer, it is nice and don't want to screw it up only to sell later. Any idea what triple axle aluminum...
Have found info on single vs twin engine as for which is better for docking etc. how will single dual prop compare to twin single props when docking etc. looking at 28' boat with bravo3 and 30' boat with twin engine single prop. Around here there is a lot of stern in docking and currently get...
Looking to upgrade to 28' boat. Would be single engine. Would there be an advantage to go one step higher and go for 32' with twins? Hear that docking with twins is so much better. That would be a big help. Any other benefits? These would be powerboats.
Found low hour, 38, boat in Florida. 2010 model with inboard merc. Looking at pictures, it seems to be stored at marinemax indoors. Does this mean the boat would be flushed each time by marina as normal practice? Does owner have to ask each time? Sure I would be told it was flushed every time...
Should asking price come down after year on market? See boats listed from last year with same price, brokers or dealer with consigned boat don't move on price? May drop from 70k to 68k and never check with owner on other offers.
Is there any way to determine the condition on upholstery in a boat if there are no visible tears or cracks? If taken care of, how long does it hold up before cracking? Looking at 2007 sea ray bow rider that appears to be covered when not in use. Just concerned about age of material.
Currently using about 20-30 gallons fuel with 350 mag in 25' boat. Capacity is 65 gallons. Will a 8.2 with 50 gallon tank be a problem? Like not having to worry about filling up on water now.
Just wandering where the cost is in new boats? Know that steel and rubber went up last few years due to oil prices and such. But why are boats so high? Not yachts, but average size boats that most people are interested in. Have read a few articles about how the industry is trying to get...
Has anyone regretted financing a boat for 10 years or so? After looking for a used boat for a while, I'm considering new. Finding used is possible, but far off and mostly brokered boats that won't take trades. Not looking to sell mine myself, rather trade. Not interested about the paying cash...
Noticed that they don't seem to like kids all their boats. They say best boat made so what are they afraid of? Have 2 kids should I not consider their product? Other dealers say have at it we can clean later. Just wandering.
