    slack in bushings somewhere

    Johnson 15r76r 15 HP 1976 model Johnson. Motor seems to move forward & back & side to side when tiller handle is held in one place...the lower pivot point does not have any slack. But here is a lot at the top..Any idea what part needs to be changed?

    50 HP mercury 2 strk interchangeability of parts

    I have a 2003 50 ELPTO...during last outing engine started missing bad & making noise....found middle spark plug gap closed apparently from piston hitting it.. Can any one tell me what range of year models are interchangeable with 2003' so I can find a used engine? Thanks in advance

    ticking sound is now knocking sound & dead miss

    2004 merc OB 50 HP - Had ticking noise from engine for last 10 tanks of fuel - Last trip out, lost power & ticking turned into a knocking sound. Immediately shut off engine & trolled in. removal of plugs found gap closed completely on middle cylinder. Connecting rod failure?

    2005 merc 2 strk 50HP oil injected overhauled

    Is it recommended to run a few tanks of 50:1 premix after engine overhaul? Engine was previously run with no oil is the reason for the recent overhaul. Thanks in advance for the input

    How many places does the water exit

    Engine heat alarm still sounds after idling for a few minutes. Water pump impellor looks good by the way. With the muffs on & the water turned on I'm getting a lot of water out various pee holes on the foot but very little out of the exhaust. I'm suspecting a hole in a water jacket or the tube...

    how many bolts to remove to change water pump

    1989 evinrude 110 HP VRO E110TLCEM I need to change the impellor for the water pump. I have removed 5 bolts that hold the foot to the motor. Does the trim tab have to be removed like on some Mercury motors to expose a hidden bolt? Or is that all the bolts?
