    QD-19 steerin?

    I have a 1958 QD-19 10hp that runs great only thing that bugs me is the way it swings around if you let go of the tiller it will instantly turn one way or the other. Is there a way to adjust it? My 5.5 and mercury 9.8 will hold pretty steady so think something is off a bit. Doug

    10hp Johnson Qd-19 and Qd20 recoil?

    Does anyone know are the recoils the same on the 58 and 59 10hp QD series? The one on my 58 has several cracks in it and am afraid they are growing but still works at the moment. Found someone that has a 59 recoil for sale and wondering if it will work. Doug

    what brand of oil?

    I have both a QD-19 and CD-16 I have read everyone suggesting 24:1 so have that information and the tank is spotless with new hoses etc. Any one have a suggestion as to what oil is the best to use? In the past have used several different ones including lawnboy oil. Doug

    Pressure tank question.

    I had a pretty good leak from the gasket when tank was pressureized so am rebuilding the tank. The question is do I need to put some kind of sealer to use between the tank and the handle assembly?

    6hp mercury lower unit question

    I am trying to get the lower unit off of my model 60 that was just given to me and was told still had the original impeller. I have tried everything I can think of it will drop down about 3/4" and then sticks will not come off any further. My model 110 (9.8) comes right off, Any suggestions? Doug
