    Charging coil on 1997 Johnson

    Hi I am looking at a 1997 j25RMLEUR 25 hp pull start. My question is what would it take to add a charging coil to charge a battery? I would think it would just be the coil and voltage regulator. Am i missing anything here? Has anyone done this before? Thanks
