I bought a fiberglass hull 4 months ago & would like to know if I can build a simple cabin and deck on it (shanty boat style), without ripping up the "floor". I read here that we should drill holes to check for rot. The floor feels very solid. It's not spongy. I'm guessing whomever converted...
