    1989 Jonson 40 One Cylinder at Idle

    1989 Jonson 40 runs on one cylinder at idle and great just above idle through full throttle. I have replaced the spark plugs, spark plug wires and coil. When I remove the top spark plug wire at idle it runs the same and when the bottom is removed at idle it stalls. Any suggestions?

    Evinrude 25 Loud Exhaust

    I just purchased a late eighties Evinrude 25. It is extremely loud and there are signs of exhaust on the shaft at the bottom of the steering hinge, above the waterline. This leads me to beleive that the exhaust is exiting there and not through the prop. <br /><br />Any suggestions?

    1991 Mercury 200

    My motor shakes terribly between 1300 rpm and about 2000 rpm. We have tried all kinds of carburator tricks with no luck. Someone mentioned a bent prop shaft. We bought the motor with a rebuilt powerhead, so we don't know its history. Any thoughts?
