Unless you add a fuel flow sensor, the system is getting the fuel flow data from the ECM. It's a calculated value based on the fuel the engine is demanding at any given time.

Yes they are. RPMs are coming directly from the computer via NMEA 2000 network. If your tach is the analog style it could easily be off.
