    3.0l hesitating while at crusing speed and bogs when giving throttle

    Securing Outdrive on my I/O

    So ive been using straps around my motor lifting actuators and I was wondering if this is ok and if not do they make something to lock the outdrive of the I/o in place while trailering?

    Altitude Question with a carb motor

    So I have a 4 cyl. 140 hp carb mercruiser motor. At what altitude would I have to re-jet my carb?. I use the boat at 200ft above sea level but will going to a lake that's 4300ft above sea level. Will I need to re-jet or will I be fine? I feel I will lose some power and I understand this

    Just bought a 1992 beachcraft/ reinell

    so i bought a boat and was wondering which prop i need. its has a 3.0l mercruiser engine. its a chevy motor not sure on the outdrive tho. is there a need for a 4 blade prop on such a small motor?
