    HELP!! 1998 175 Ficht Evinrude---is it worth it!!!

    Just wondering if anyone has any input on whether it is worth it to replace the power head or do I have to look forward to this cylinder wall scoring problem forever with this motor. I love this motor when it is running properly but do I dare rebuild it and have this problem happen again...

    is it worth it?

    Does anybody have any input on whether it is better to rebuild my existing 1998 Evinrude 175 Ficht motor or replace it with something new? I am thinking of selling my boat after I get the motor fixed or replaced. I have a 1998 Stratos 219CF that deserves a better motor!!! What i'm looking for is...
