    Rotten Deck?

    Walking around my recently purchased boat and I believe the deck may be rotten. It gives a slight amount but I am somewhat heavy (210). Does this likely mean the deck has to be replaced?

    15 hp on Boat Rated for 7 hp

    Traded my 4 hp for what I thought was a 9.9 for my 10 ft. Pelican fishing boat. Turns out it was a 15 with a 9.9 cowl. The boat is rated for 7. If I go easy on the throttle can I use the 15?

    Hour Meter Accuracy??

    New to boating. Bought a 1980 Beachcraft, says 153 on the hour meter. Paid virtually nothing for it so if the actual is way higher I didn't get burnt. Wondering though if hour meters are usually accurate and if I should believe this number. Sounds remarkably low for age of boat. Any input...

    Ignition Switch Won't Return from START

    1980 Johnson 50 (J50ELCSR) ignition switch turned past "ON" to START and won't return automatically. Tried WD in the part where the key goes but didn't seem to help much. Anyone have any ideas?
