    Choosing new battery??

    I have a 87 Evinrude 90hp vro that has been sitting a while, Got it running and all but now I am in the market for a new battery for the boat. From what I have been seeing and reading it seem like this engine works best with a lead acid battery that is not maintenance free. Can someone elaborate...
