What happened to the maitenance videos on the Suzuki site? Do you need to drain the lowere unit before installing a new impellor on a DF70 four stroke?
There are differences in the weight of various props.Aluminum,stainless and composite props vary quite a bit by overall weight. What part does weight play in the overall equation and is a few pounds significant on a 70hp motor?
When raising the mounting height do you need to place something like a spacer between the transom and motor or does the motor just rest on the mounting bolts? It is a 4 stoke Suzuki 70.
I have a 2yr. old DF 70. I will be moving to an area where there are no authorized Suzuki dealers. There are Johnson dealers but they do not offer warranty service on Suzuki motors. Should I sell it before I move and purchase a motor that local dealers can service???
My 2001 DF70 broke down last week. Dealer says no oil pressure and new power head needed due to siezure. On vacation and no boat. I hope Suzuki comes through in a timely fashion.Engine had only about 60 hours on it and ran fine until breakdown.
Does anyone know of a website that shows how to attach plastic and rubber lures to jig heads and hooks? There are so many shapes and sizes from worms to crawfish,and no on package instructions for rigging to get the best results.
Does it matter where you place an inline circuit breaker or fuse such as a trolling motor? Should it be in the positive or negative side of the circuit or no difference?
