I have a 85 Yamaha 90hp does it charge the battery when it is running? I have 2 batteries one is starting and one is trolling. Some of my accesories run off of the starting battery and I want to make sure that the motor is charging the battery so that it does not die and leave me stuck.

I have a 1985 stroke and when i pump the ball to get fuel pressure it drips out of the connector to the motor. It maybe the connector on the fuel hose or on the motor how can you tell which and is it hard to replace the one on the motor. I can just change the one on the hose very easy.
