    Trim Tabs for a 16 foot tinny

    Are trim tabs useful on a 16 foot aluminium boat? What advantages do they offer. I'm looking at the Nauticus Smart Tab. Do I just fit and forget it, or do I have to adjust it aaccording to conditions as I go along? Anything that saves me fuel and gives stability would be a good thing.

    Flywheel repair

    Hi, I have a 1992 60HP outboard with 4 teeth substantially gone and was wondering how to effect a repair. (This particular item is very difficult to source and I am in new Zealand where there are even fewer). Any tips on reconstituting the teeth? (I already posted this question in an old forum...
