Running boat all day and on the way home the motor sounded like it just droped a cylinder. Reduced the throttle to idle everythings fine throttle up and when rpm increases the same problem accures. If I turned keyoff and waited a min or so and started up and increase the throttle it would work...
I need a internal wiring harness for a 50 hp Evinrude Mod. E50BELCLC Ser. J0001735 also what is the yr of this motor and where can I get the harness. The wires are breaking apart when you touch them. Can any one tell me why this is happening?
I have a 1985 150hp Johnson. Rebuilt the carbs and went for a spin everything worked fine. When got home a put on muffs to flush motor idle speed was about 2300rpm. Any sugestions on why this would happen.
1985 150hp Johnson previous owner said hit object and since has not worked. Motor was raised by lifting and using the trim button. Has sit for three months tilted up. Trim motor runs when you push the button but motor does not move up or down.
