4.3l efi Merc I/O problem continues. Not only is there water in cylinders 3 & 5 They have done a Compression check and the Mech said that this rebuild is screwed. HELP PLEASE
I have had the exhaust Manifold Checked and this is not the problem. It is Raw water getting in not from the fresh water cooling system. It'S getting in even running on the hose in the yard.
I have the same problem with my Merc 4.3 every year. There seems to be a miss and major loss in power. It backfiresand the Rpm gauge is all over the map. No one has n=been able to figure it out. Can anyone help.
