    Checking Compession

    I would like to check the compression on a motor<br />but unable to warm the motor up. How can I expect<br />the readings to vary when checking cold? <br />Could they all be low, all high, or can they<br />vary among cylinders and then read normal after<br />warming up? Thanks

    Suzuki 140 - Starting

    I have a 93 Suzuki 140 (Carbs) that revs real<br />high when first started cold. After a 10 or 15 seconds it idles down fine. If I dont have the throttle lever all the way up it dies. But when it starts in the fully open postion it revs so high it sounds like it might blow up! Seems to me this...
