    How can tell when water pump needs rebuild?

    I replaced the impeller on my 3.0L Volvo sx gspefs. Now the machine isn't overheating but the engine doesn't appear to be sucking much water on the muffs. I am concerned that the pump isn't sucking enough water...how much is enough or should be coming out of the engine?
