Early 1960s Evinrude 75hp Starflite Barn find - Worth it?

I was curious if this is rare enough of an engine to take it apart and sell for parts. I wouldn't try to restore to sell outright. But, I didn't want to scrap it if there are parts more capable hands would want for their restoration project.

Early 1960s Evinrude 75hp Starflite Barn find - Worth it?

Friend of mine sent me pics of an early 1960s Evinrude. They were unable to find a serial number so I don't know if this is worth even looking at. Anyone at first glance see a barn find treasure or at least something to part out? Thanks for the help.

Applying epoxy after vinylester resin hull repair

I have patched the hull with chopped strand mat and unwaxed vinyl ester resin. My next step is to replace the stringers with 1708 and epoxy. Before I put down the epoxy, I wanted to confirm that I will need to do a final coat with wax added for a final "cure". Mod EDIT. redirect removed...

Replacing Old hull patch work inside and out

Replacing Old hull patch work inside and out

Do you guys think that is old paint or old gel coat peeling on hull below the patched area? We found that puzzling since it peels off like rubber.

Replacing Old hull patch work inside and out

Well we finally got the boat apart. Got the cap off, removed the flooring, stringers and wet foam. We found old patch work under a stringer on the port-side in bad condition. The glass is delaminated on the edges and brown (clay-looking) caulking? is crumbling. That area is so weak that you can...

Using the house garage to do fiberglass work?

We recently aquired a 15 foot dual console boat (long story) that ended up having waterlogged foam, rotten stringers and needing a new transom. My sons and I have decided this will be a good father/sons project to take on to get this boat restored better than it was. I am concerned about...
