    where does water tube enter power head

    I have the exhaust cover and the head off my 1995 25hp johnson. If I remove the lower unit and shine a flashlight on the water tube upper inlet will I be able the see where it enters. I think there is a piece of the old upper water tube washer in there

    i changed the impeller on my 25hp johnson. there is supposed to be a washer on top of the water tube where it goes into the powerhead. mine is missing and nobody carries the part. what should I use or if I use nothing will the powerhead still get cooling water. thanks
