    engine stalls when throttling down from high speed

    mechanics comments were" engine does not have enough vacuum to pull fuel when throttling from high cruise speeds to idle. Engine wants to kill. need to pull and replace reeds" plugs changed, carb kit installed, comp check in green range Does this make sense?

    20 hp electric starter

    Starter tries but it goes zing and then it kicks out. Rope start works. It has 2 wires going to the starter. Is this a bendix or solenoid starter? Can the starter be fixed, or do i need a new starter?

    20HP WMC44 carb

    Motor won't start. When I squeeze fuel line primer bulb, fuel squirts out mixing chamber of carb. Is it supposed to leak out top of cover plate like that? Spurts a little out front of carb when cranking too. Float seems to be OK. Any ideas whats going on?

    Hull number missing

    1980 Bluefin 14' aluminum boat. Hull number plate not on transom. Is there another number anywhere on the boat?

    Mercury serial number

    The serial number on the 20 hp outboard given to me starts in OT instead of OG. 2002 model 1020301ZD. What is the difference? Was this just an error? It is OT on all locations.

    mercury 20EH carb removal

    2002 Merc 20HP 2 stroke was given to me. I think carb is gummed up and needs cleaned. Are there any videos/tips available to remove carb for cleaning?
