    Solar Panel

    Hello all,<br /><br />I was considering putting a 12 v solar panel on my small runabout to run the radio, cb, etc and charge the battery. Has anyone else tried this and is it a good or bad idea? I can get one with cig lighter adapter/charger for around $25. <br /><br />Thanks.

    Does anyone have the plans or know a site to get the plans for homemade wooden seats for a runabout? I have just purchaces my first boat and would like to build the seats myself. Any help that you can give would be appreciated!

    Radio/CB

    I'm new at this, having just bought my fisrt boat (a small Runabout). What is the best way to keep a CB and AM/FM Cass from getting moisture damage. I have a JVC AM/FM /Cass and a Uniden CB that were salvaged from an old car. Can I use them? Thank for the assist.

    Batteries

    I have just purchased my first boat (a Small Runabout with a 50hp Force). Can I use a auto battery or must I get a Marine battery, and if so which is the best. I will have the engine, cb and am/fm w/cass running from this battery. Thanks for the help. :confused:
