    i have a 1974 merc 7.5 hp i just had it serviced and was running great then i took it out brought it back and it started leaking a yellowish oil im pretty sure it might be lower unit oil. what is happening to my baby someone please help me

    115HP johnson Dies when in gear

    HI I have a 1976 115hp johnson that runs in idle and neutrale. but just recently when i shift it in to gear it stalls out after a few seconds.

    black goo

    there is a very black goo coming from the exaust of my 1976 115 hp johnson it runs and starts perfectly. i think that it maybe carbon biuld up do to too much oil in the gas?

    i have a 1976 johnson 115 johnson V4 it is in perfect running condition.but its rusted to hell along time ago it had to be rebuilt and when the marina put on the water jacket plate they craked it. so they jb welded it. then it eventualy split openspraying saltwater every were i eventualy...

    19 Foot cruise Craft with 115 hp johnson wont plane

    ok this is how it went I used to have a 18 foot manatee v hull that was powered by a 1976 115hp Johnson V4 at this time I was able to reach speeds of up to 36 mph but then I switched boats to a 19 foot cruise craft bow rider that is considerably liter and it wont plane and will only reach speeds...
