    Warning buzzer issues 1995 E90TLEO

When I bench test a horn it only works one way. Must be a diod. Wire from the sensor is the ground. The horn part that I listed is the correct horn for your motor.

Not that I remember....are you talking about the horn? Buzzer? Should work or not I believe. Does yours look like this?

Don't run that motor anymore except for short times trying to see if it is going "into" an overheat. Find out whether you have tool issues or overheat. I have a cheap Harbor Freight IR gun and it works fine. Run motor in driveway only. Diagnose, repair then use.

1982 Johnson 50 Sea Horse - Constant Beep While Accelerating

Now you need to know why your alarm isn't going off. That sequel you hear that I can't could be a failing horn. Ground the tan wire with the key switch on....no sound, open up control box and hot wire horn and see if it's dead. When I test for overheat at the first sign of going over...

Or under the flywheel. Could be a mouse and he's not really happy! The saga continues.

I can't hear the alarm on your video....motor noise must drown it out.

Nope, he later disclosed that he had removed the bolts but two of them broke off. Salt corroded broken bolts would have given us a clue that the driveshaft wasn't frozen in the powerhead. Alls good with the OP so their really is no more reason to post here.

Does your motor overheat at idle? If so then yes pulling it apart will be better. Stuff can get hard as concrete.

Well if your having trouble getting the bolts out then I'd pickel it in vinegar and see what happens. When I'm working on salted out small outboards, I pull the gearcase, turn the motor upside down, pour salt away down the water pump tube and let it fill the powerhead. Not perfect but helps...

1982 Johnson 50 Sea Horse - Constant Beep While Accelerating

I use salt away.... saltchuckmatt. For a less expensive way....get a plastic barrel and put a couple of jugs of vinegar mixed with water. Run it at idle (if it will without overheating) for 1/2 hour or so and shut it off. Let it sit for a week then test again. Didn't you already pull your...

    1982 Johnson outboard 60 hp 2 cly

You will want to flatten that head now that it's off. Dead flat surface, 120 sand paper laying on the flat surface and do figure 8 patterns on it until it's shinny everywhere. Once you get it running you need to check head temp even if it's pumping water correctly. IR gun or check with your...

    Pulling a boat motor.

I believe your bolts are fine...grade 8 doesn't give and I think you want that. The threads are the week point I'm guessing. I have so many outboards, I have to hang them just to walk around in my garage!

    Pulling a boat motor.

Comes with two sets of screws, and could easily be reproduced. Pretty sure the screws themselves would hold the motor.

    Pulling a boat motor.

You can wrap a strap around the whole motor... Did that a few times.

    Pulling a boat motor.

The OMC one I have threads on the end of the crank and has 3 bolts. Bolt aren't very long. Pretty sure the three bolts alone and some cobbled together plate would hold it but that is far as I can go.... guarantee wise. I have a 30 hanging by the bolts and a steering wheel puller now.

    Missing parts 1991 3hp

I think your confused. 30 is a roll pin. The spot or Barb next to it is part of the carb, Your missing 31 and possibly 32 and a rubber hose? Or yes you have a 90 and your good I guess. Not sure how it gets it pulse though. Look for a barb fitting not being used off the block. Racerone called...
