    Transom is in!!!! All the bolts kinda had thier own angle so I strapped a 2X8 across the back & drilled from the inside, I had my wife help guide me through the last sheet. Worked amazing, even scared me, still waiting to see wants going to go wrong since that went so well.

    Cut transom out of Coosa this weekend. I cut the Coosa a little large & used a flush bit on my router & the pattern to get to the proper shape. Got it glued & clamped & will shape the second piece with the router & flush bit before installation. Next problem will be to get holes drilled, good...

    Made a proto transom out of a sheet of 1/2 inch last night. Tight fit & had to trim a bit. Markings on the plywood when I pulled it back out shows me where I need to work on divets, worse place was were the scuppers come through.     I've read where it has been done with no issues, I've read where it is the worst thing to do, but I've never came across a thread that explains why, or someone that has had bad experience. All I want to do is get the rope out of the water so it's not spraying in the kid's face

    Were can I get a shop manual for a 1990 Mercury 150 outboard? I've searched & keep getting directed to the Selco manual which has less than desirable reviews. Kinda wanting torque recommendations & trouble shooting avenues. Did Chilton publish a outboard manual???

    Where are you guys putting your batteries when you add a trolling motor? Do you think they could be placed to far forward on a Tyee 1850?

    Jump seats

    Any one have a place you can buy jump seats that fold down into the casting deck? I can build the deck and add in the seats, just don't want to have to try & build the seats with the hinge & carpet ect. Brother in laws Alumnacraft appears to have the seats prebuilt on an aluminum insert.

    didn't like pouring foam & trying to get close to the top, right or wrong I put in a sub floor of blue foam board, there is a learning curve but I think I'll have the hang of it by the time I'm done!!
