    just curious ?

    Could the starter burn out the windings of the ignition coil under the fly wheel if it didn't disengage the fly wheel after starting and running engine for approx 20 minutes?. Engine is a 79 Mercury Blueband.-thanks

    Hi can any-one help me with a power head identification ,I bougt it for spare parts as a 25hp,manual start but i'm not so sure after stripping it .I got it for the pistons and crank ,to rebuild my 1982 25hp electric start only to find different pistons , carb and con rods ,seems to be the same...

    1982 Evinrude 25hp

    could somebody please tell me the correct length of the three rubber water passage restrictors in the power head water jacket,for example-do all three slide in the full length of the casting from head gasket to the bottom of the casting or do one or more end short of the base?-thankyou
