    Cut a hole in the soft spot and take a look. Until you do that everything is a guess. Once you actually see what the issue is then you can figure out the repair.

    Have you tested the boat after the tabs were installed? how did it feel? All boats are different so the location of tabs on one hull may be a terrible location on another. If that location works on your boat then you are good. Adding another set of tabs is a waste.

    Might want to look into Uflex also. I use their SVS line on my boat and it is superior in everyway to the comparable seastar unit plus the Uflex paddle trim is the best.

    For general family boating that is more than adequate. There are difference in the way the boat feels and you don't want to be sucking sand and whatnot into the jet but it will be a fun boat. pulling kids on a tube is not the same as pulling a 200 pound experienced slalom skier.
