    Prop Replacement

    What's the best way to remove a prop. I know the manuals say to use a piece of wood to hold the prop, but can you just put the engine in gear to hold the prop stable or will this damage the gears?

    correct prop size???

    I need help deciding which prop to put on twin 225 Optimax installed on a 31 foot boat. I currently use 19 pitch but think I might get better perfomance from a larger prop. Any ideas?

    Windlass Motor

    I have just burnt out my motor on a Horizon 500 Windlass. Does anyone know where you can purchase replacement parts for this unit. I hate to spend another $900 for a new one.

    Merc or Yamaha???

    I am buying new motors and am having a hard time deciding between the 225 Optimax and the Yamaha 225. Is the gas efficiency really that good on an Optimax?
