    2 Stroke 15hp suddenly sounds like 4 stroke and low power

    Left the ramp without issue. Moved spots a few times. Motor suddenly difficult to start and idling very low sputtering out. Gave it some gas and noticed the motor sounded different - low pitch as a 4 stroke would! Also very low power. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any tips where to start...

    2005 15hp tiller kill switch/button very stiff

    Picked this up off of classifieds. The red button on the center of the tiller handle needs a lot of pressure to kill the engine. I know this button is an issue on older outboards - i have a 1990 15hp that the red buton doesn't even do anything. Any idea how I can fix this stiff button?

    1968 Merc 110 9.8hp - Sputters or stuck at mid rpm with passengers/load

    Picked up an old '68 Merc 110 9.8hp that runs OK as long as the 10' zodiac is empty. It does sputter a bit a mid rpm on full throttle but eventually revs up and planes the boat after a few seconds. The sputtering is just before the boat planes.
