Just curious if it would work to swap a mc1 sterndrive inner transom plate to an alpha one? I have the mc1 and want to swap to a 1.9alh TDI. And using a Chevy bell housing for me is super easy to get a swap kit for the TDI, assuming I can use the 153 tooth flywheels with the flywheel coupler...
