    11.5 on the excite wire on the alternator 12.3 on the sense wire on the alternator 45 on the main charging wire on the alternator and 12.3 at the battery as i give more RPMs the voltage either stays the same or drops

    Can anyone shine some light on what flywheel i would need for a 5.7 omc I don't really have much info on the motor i bought thr boat used. From some research I've done it seems like a 168 tooth flywheel. Thanks in advance

    Thanks for the help everyone. I put the flapper on the exit of the exhaust where the exhaust bellow would usually go. Went out Sunday about 20 miles with no issues with water in the motor just a few carb issues.

    I measured 14 1/2 inches i used this picture as a reference i measured from the water level on the picture to the top of the transom then from the top of the riser elbow to the stop of the transom subtracted the 2 and got 14.5
