1991 150 Fast Strike - I got the foot off to replace the water pump. Pulled off the pump housing, but the rubber impeller won't come off. Been squirting wd40 around the shavt but still won't budge.
Any suggestion?

This unit has been setting for a long time and I would like to replace the water pump. Unbolting the lower unit is not the problem - How / Where do I unbolt/loosen the shifter shaft? the previous engine (pre 1985) I had, it was a one bolt thing but this engine is different. I don't see how to...
This boat has been setting for a long time - and I would like to replace the water pump. Question is - how do I detach/loosen the shifting rod? I had an older engine and it was a one bolt removal, but no clue on this engine.
