    I did not know enough to check this when I reassembled the motor. The bottom cylinder gets plenty of fuel (at least I can see a LOT of oily residue on the bottom plug). The top is dry as can be, as in it has no oil or gas on it at all. You mentioned that if the seal is bad on won't pull fuel...

    I just read on another thread to check the jet gaskets. When I was in the carb the main jet and needle gaskets looked oldish. I need to figure that out. also, maybe I need a new coil and points set. Shheeesssh. This is getting expensive! But is sure is fun.

    Both plugs have a solid hard spark and I did not run long enough for any heat issues. I am thinking this must be a fuel problem?
