    Correct at 4000 rpms it’s just chugging, and I checked the prop and hub both are good , I turned the motor off put it in gear the hub only spins one way

    I switched the linkage from the right to the left , it switched fine , I put a 3 blade 14.5 / 19 pitch Volvo penta right hand prop on it , put muffs on it ran fine in the driveway , then put it in the water , couldn’t plain out and with wide open throttle only hit 4000rpms but couldn’t generate...

    Is there anyway that the linkage is correct for this outdrive? Maybe saying that this outdrive was on a different boat before ? Or is the sx outdrive linkage always on the left side ? , thanks for the information

    I’ll take some pictures tomorrow, and no , the first time I ran it , was after they were replacing stuff on the motor which at this point at the RH prop on it that came with the boat when I put it in the water
