    So am I just being paranoid? During this hose test run I only had the engine on for maybe 1 minute. If I left it running it would eventually start throwing water out of those holes?

    Thanks for your reply. The 3 holes pictured in the middle of this photo. According to the manual and diagram of the water pump, this is the outlet for the heated water used to cool the engine.

    Hello, TLDR: When running this motor does water always come out the water exhaust when its running or just when the engine is up to temperature? (100F -130F) I just bought a 16FT Steury with a 115EL76 1976 115HP Johnson outboard for fishing. The guy I bought it from had the boat out 12 times...
