    I have two brown wires one from each coil. Does any one know how to wire to a kill switch. The switch has two plugs on the back. Does each brown wire go to one side of the plug for each wire? or does the two brown wires go to one same side of plug, and other side of plug go to ground...

    Hello, So many people have been trying to help me solve this problem. I need to know how to wire a shorting/kill switch in this motor? I have been directed to Mercruiser web site but it does not show where the two wires connect to. Any ideals? Thank You, Mike Haley.

    Does any one know how to make this motor turn off? Kill switch. If not can any one tell me how to wire one in. I have to choke to kill. It is fouling out my plugs. Thank You.

    1975 6 hp, Chrysler. Model 62HG.

    I have a Chrysler, 1975 6hp, model 62HG. It does not have any way to turn off but to choke it. It has fouled out plugs. I bought a double pole double throw toggle switch to wire into to coil leads from the points. It should turn off both coils at the same time i think. Does any one know how this...
