    The wot on this outboard is 6080 Running with me and 40 litres of fuel.(flat water) at 28 mph. I understand that pitching up will give more speed but decrease rpm . What I can't find out is will a smaller prop diameter increase the rpm? So my line of thinking smaller diameter plus larger pitch...

    Etec is running a viper s/steel prop 13.7/8 × 15 , wot 6100 rpm for around 28 mph. It's on the back of a 14.5 feet outlaw. Just wondering what a 13.1/4 x 17 would do? Looking for a little bit more speed! Already raised the motor helped a little.
